One of the most demanding projects of our career, designed entirely by Klemen Brun. With the terrace and balconies it came to 33 meters of railing, and a running meter weighs around 100 kg. The whole project took two and a half years. Each piece is made by hand in our Blejska Dobrava workshop; installation can be arranged.

What people ask us most

How much does a forged balcony railing cost compared to a fence?

It depends on the height. For mounting on top of the slab, the railing itself is 97 cm high plus a 3 cm gap to the floor, and the starting price is 350 EUR per running meter, posts included. If the railing is mounted on the face of the balcony slab, it looks best when it covers 10 to 20 cm of the slab edge, and the price rises by roughly 10 to 15 percent, with installation also costing more because a pre-assembly is needed. Prices are without installation and VAT.

What railing height is required by building codes for balconies?

In Slovenia the law currently says 1 meter. In Germany and Austria it depends on the building code and the fall height, commonly 90 to 110 cm. We make the railing to the height your code requires.

What warranty do you give on the coating and finish?

10 years on the paint, 30 years against rust. The warranty does not cover mechanical damage.
